Tasmanian Suicide Prevention Strategy Project

The Department of Health, Tasmania is developing the next Tasmanian Suicide Prevention Strategy on behalf of the Tasmanian Government. The strategy, which will be the third of its kind, will set the vision and priorities for preventing suicide in our State for the next five years.

While we are learning more about suicide in Tasmania and making important progress, it remains an issue in our State and the impact is profound. Each life lost to suicide is a tragedy felt deeply by individuals, families, friends, and communities
