The AFL has announced a massive line-up for the 2022 ANZAC Appeal round as part of the 2022 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

All 10 Victorian based AFL teams will have the opportunity to participate in moving commemoration ceremonies and support ANZAC Appeal fundraising activity.

The blockbuster ANZAC Day game between the Essendon and Collingwood football clubs at the MCG, will for the first time since 2019, draw a capacity crowd.

RSL Victoria State President Dr Robert Webster OAM will conduct the pre-game commemoration ceremony.

“The MCG is a special place for most Victorians and when I recite the ode of remembrance from the middle of the stadium on ANZAC Day, and the last post plays, you can hear a pin drop. It is incredibly moving.”
