Remembrance Day is commemorated on the 11th of November. It was the day in 1918 that hostilities ceased to end the Great War. The guns fell silent. It was initially known as Armistice Day but is now recognised in Australia as Remembrance Day. Services are held in metropolitan and country areas. Please check with local RSL Sub Branches for details.
The Remembrance Day Service at the Hobart Cenotaph commences at 10.30am on the 11th November.
