Alex is a strong supporter of and believes in the RSL and its key principles. Based on his previous experiences, he has a skill set which can help the RSL continue to grow and develop in the future with a commitment to seeing the RSL adapt and grow in a manner that best suits the veteran, service and ex-service community.
Alex served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Huon RSL Sub Branch before taking up his appointment as Honorary State Treasurer in 2013. Alex’s previous experience includes working in Finance and Accounts for numerous local and State Government bodies within Australia, as well as various private enterprises and insurance entities over the past twenty-seven years. He also developed a strong Information Technology background with one of Australia’s Blue Chip Companies and has maintained this through time, remaining up to date with current technologies. Alex has recently completed his studies in Business Law, attaining a B Comm. (Bus. Law) from Curtin University in Western Australia. Alex is currently completing his Masters of Business Administration (Corporate Governance) with University of Tasmania and studying a Bachelor of Psychology with Swinburne University.
